DataStrike Taps Senior AWS Architect Corey Beck to Head Cloud Services Amid 300% Growth in Cloud Clients

Corey Beck Joins as Director of Cloud Technologies, Bringing Over a Decade of AWS and Azure Expertise to Drive Cloud Optimization and Cost Efficiency

PITTSBURGH, March 26, 2025 – DataStrike, a leader in data infrastructure managed services, has appointed former AWS Architect Corey Beck as Director of Cloud Technologies. His hiring comes as DataStrike experiences a 300% increase in AWS clients, driving demand for enhanced cloud cost management, compute optimization, and infrastructure support.

"Businesses are facing rising cloud costs and need experts to optimize their environments without sacrificing performance," said Rob Brown, President and COO of DataStrike. "Corey’s expertise in cloud cost management, database optimization, and scalability will ensure we continue delivering cost-effective, high-performance cloud solutions. Our fractional cloud support model gives clients access to expert services tailored to their needs—whether that’s a few hours a month or a dedicated team."

Beck brings nearly 15 years of IT experience, specializing in scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS and Azure solutions across industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, healthcare, and life sciences. Previously, he served as a solutions architect at Navisite and RDX, with deep expertise in AWS and Azure services. As an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Beck will spearhead innovation for DataStrike’s expanding customer base.

DataStrike’s cloud services have helped clients achieve measurable improvements in performance, cost efficiency, and operational stability. One such client, a leading outdoor retailer, saw significant efficiency gains through DataStrike’s AWS expertise. "DataStrike has been a game-changer for us. Their expertise and commitment to our success have allowed us to overcome complex challenges, optimize our operations, and deliver a seamless experience to our customers,"said an IT manager from a leading outdoor retailer.

With a fractional support model, DataStrike pairs clients with senior engineers skilled in maximizing cloud investments. Many organizations moving to the cloud face challenges such as cloud cost management, fragmented services, and a lack of in-house expertise. DataStrike addresses these needs through:

  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Cutting cloud spend by up to 30% with workload right-sizing and licensing strategies.
  • End-to-End Cloud Support: Providing continuous cloud management to ensure peak cloud performance.
  • Database Administration: Covering traditional on-premises, as well as hybrid and cloud-native databases, including networking, security, and compute management.
  • Migration and Modernization: Helping businesses transition from legacy systems to cloud-native environments for improved security, performance, resiliency and scalability.

As AI adoption accelerates, Beck will be responsible for helping customers develop AI-ready cloud environments, optimized for AI-driven analytics and machine learning. "In joining DataStrike, I’m working with an experienced team that continues to exceed customers’ expectations in maximizing their cloud investment,"said Corey Beck, Director of Cloud Technologies at DataStrike. "We’re helping clients manage their data and optimize cloud resources for AI initiatives—all while driving real business outcomes."
